In the first months of the year, we have the pruning phase. This is where we cut the vines in ways that help the plant develop and physically get ready when the season comes.
When the Spring arrives, we get to the budbreaking phase of the cultivation. It is a crucial part of the process and at this stage we are able to if all goes well. The budbreaking phase helps us understand a lot about the quality and quantity that the plants will yield for the season ahead.
The care for the cultivation continues to rise for the whole duration of the period until they are ready for harvest. We, then, carefully select on the field the best bunches that suit our clients’ needs.
In order to achieve table grapes of high quality, we have found that there are three main ingredients . These are the Love of the grower, the Skills necessary and the Presence of a good microclimate. Our area and family, having dealt with the production of table grapes for many generations now, have acquired all of these attributes that ensure a good result. We make sure that the microclimate is always ideal by placing a special net over the plants which protects the grapes from wind and solar radiation during the summer months. During the winter months, this net is replaced by plastic covers to ensure that our plants are protected from winter weather.
The final phase of the procedure is taking the grapes to our self-owned packing house. This is where all the procedures that can assure the safety and quality of our product take place to meet the demands of our clients and the strict European regulations. Our table grapes are then packed according to our clients’ needs and are then ready for shipment.
