Our Team
All the growers who supply our company with table grapes are organized into a group under the instructions and general supervision of KOUFOZISIS SA – CRETAN ROOT. Our group of producers is certified against the GLOBAL GAP – IFA ver. 5 scheme (GGN: 4052852264433), having added the GRASP module to it. Grasp is an audit which is developed to assess social practices that our company uses on the employees regarding specific aspects of workers’ health, safety and welfare.
Sorting & Packaging
In addition, the procedures of sorting and packing of table grapes are certified against the BRC – Food Safety Issue 7 (Grade: A – certificate no. 44 273 141347 and IFS – Food Safety Version 6 (Grade: Higher level – certificate no. 44 272 141347) international standards. All our certificates have been issued by the Certification Body TUV HELLAS (member of TUV Nord Group).
In our company we also use Sedex’s SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit) Ethical Audits. SMETA is an audit methodology, providing a compilation of best practice ethical audit techniques. It is designed to help auditors conduct high quality audits that encompass all aspects of responsible business practice, covering Sedex’s four pillars of Labour, Health and Safety, Environment and Business Ethics.
